Care home dysphagia training:
I am committed to helping care home and nursing home staff feel confident and competent in managing swallowing difficulties. My dysphagia training package is designed to empower your team with the skills they need to ensure residents' safety and comfort while meeting essential care standards.
Why dysphagia training matters
Dysphagia, or difficulty swallowing, is a common and potentially serious issue among care home residents. Without proper management, it can lead to malnutrition, dehydration, chest infections, aspiration pneumonia, and choking. Staff confidence and knowledge are key to maintaining residents' safety and dignity.
With extensive experience working with care homes and nursing homes, I understand the challenges faced when managing dysphagia. My training is practical, compassionate, and aligned with best practices to enhance both safety and care quality.
