Who am I?
I'm a qualified Speech and Language Therapist, having completed postgraduate training in 2014 from City University, London. I am licensed by the Health and Care Professions Council and am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists. I have worked for the NHS across neurological rehabilitation (in-patient and community settings) and have also worked in critical care, trauma, surgery and stroke services.
Speech and Language Therapy is a proven, evidence-based profession designed to support and rehabilitate people who have communication and swallowing impairments.
My approach is simple:
-
We work together as a team. You are not just a passive recipient, but an active participant in your therapy.
-
My work is evidence-based but tailored to you. It's your voice and your life.
-
Therapy is practical. We'll focus on skills that matter in everyday life, like ordering a coffee, asking for help, or having a chat with a friend.
-
It's all about progress, not absolute perfection. Every step forward, however small, is a victory. And I'll be here to cheer you on every step of the way.
